About Us
We are a southern German system provider in the renewable energy sector in the areas of wood heating, solar technology and surface heating and supply specialist heating retailers in Baden-Württemberg.
As a family business, sustainable use of our homeland's resources is very important to us. For this reason, we have been successfully working to implement these goals for over 20 years.
Our many years of experience with the products of BIOTECH Energietechnik GmbH, SL-Technik GmbH and VARIOTHERM-Heizsysteme GmbH make us a competent partner for heating professionals.
The Olaf Nessensohn company was founded in July 1996. Meckenbeuren, near Lake Constance, was chosen as the company headquarters at the time. The focus of the product range was on solar systems.
The awareness of renewable energies was in its infancy. One of the most questions people encountered back then was: "What are renewable energy sources?"
In October 2002, Olaf Nessensohn and Alexandra Völkle founded Nessensohn GmbH.
Renewable energies are on the rise. With our trade fair trailer it is us Possible to show interested customers a pellet system in operation.
On January 1st, 2006 we moved into the new company premises.
Moving into the new rooms enables intensive training and presentation opportunities. In the new office and training building, heating engineers are trained on the products “in practice” (hands-on technology). The extremely energy-efficient design was the focus of the new building. At around 10,000 kwh/year, the amount of pellets required is significantly below the consumption of most single-family homes. The energy concept was efficiently rounded off by the 200 sqm solar façade. Even in summer, the wall surface cooling used ensures pleasant temperatures in the office rooms. The cooling developed via cistern tanks in the ground and wall cooling surfaces in the building makes cooling an energy-saving hit. Only 4 kWh of electricity per day is required to keep the interior temperature of the office building at a comfortable room temperature.
